The media are idiots. That speech was nothing but one big attack ad on Obama with no actual substance. First off, she lied throughout the whole thing. Second, she offered no hint at how she might govern. I guess when you know you have nothing to offer, the only choice you have is to go negative. She's in the right company for it. The Dems spent their convention telling people exactly how they'd change the country. People actually worried that the Dems weren't attacking McCain enough among all the substance. The Republicans on the other hand have done nothing but attack. They've offered nothing in the way of a vision for the country because they have none. All they have is negativity and racism. It's sad that a once great party, the party of Teddy Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln, has fallen so far so fast.
