The reason minorities avoid the Republicans is because the Republicans make it clear that they hate minorities. They may come out every 4 years and pretend they love non-white people but their actions the other 3 years prove they're lying. Why would a black person vote for a party that opposed civil rights, invented the southern strategy, opposes affirmative action and wants to destroy the government services that are often the difference between life and death for the poor? Just because a few minorities have deluded themselves into believing they have any place in the Republican Party doesn't mean most minorities are fooled.
